This movie Rocks, an interesting and unique take on the Time Travel theme that blends a satirical look at modern society and a nice reminder of those great 80's movies we all loved so much. It does not hurt that the film was consistently funny, even with Chevy Chase in the cast (No big deal... he is not on screen enough to ruin anything).
There is a strong tie-in with this film and a specific 80s movie, and John Cusack seems to have come full circle with this film. What I mean is that his character is very reminiscent of his character in Better Off Dead (One of my personal favorite 80s movies).
This is also a film about friendship, and to a lesser extent fatherhood. It manages to hit those notes without beating one about the head or preaching. It would be a good choice for a father's day movie, I can safely say.
